The goal is to predict who will perform at their best and rack up points as they dominate the competition. The prize? Bragging rights 😎 Track your progress and see if you can rise to the top by selecting the most successful lifters. It’s all about strategy, confidence, and watching your picks crush it!

How does it work?

The idea behind a Fantasy League is that participants attempt to predict who will be the top performer in each weight class. Points are awarded based on the actual performances of the selected lifters in competitions, where scoring is based on who wins their respective division.

The key element in this system is confidence in predicting which athletes will perform best. You might pick a lifter because you believe they are in peak form or have a high likelihood of winning, even if they’re not the favourite to win. Confidence points range from 1 - 16, where you can only choose one score per weight class. Classes where the podium may be quite close may lead to participants providing a lower confidence rating, for example. However, if your pick places anywhere other than first, you score 0 points - so be careful!

Participants’ points accumulate over time, and they can track their standing against other competitors. Those who select the most successful lifters in the divisions will have the highest scores and move up in the rankings.

Participants will also answer who they think will be the best female lifter, best male lifter, and how many total records they think will be broken in the case of a tie.

Submissions are due by February 14 at 9am (AEDT).

Good luck!
