First Nations Cup is a local competition affiliated with the APA. The goal of this competition is to promote the strong and authentic cultural diversity that makes up the sport of Powerlifting. Particularly celebrating our First Nation’s people, holding the event at the start of the 2024 NAIDOC week.
HPC director Aiden Potts is a proud Kamilaroi man who has taken the time to study the land and culture which his business trades on to express the rich elements and practices of the Awabakal Nation. Ranging from artwork designed by him, a smoking ceremony at the competition, traditional and contemporary dances between sessions, and awards.
This competition is open to any and all that wish to register, but there will also be a PRIME TIME session for lifters with an IPF GL Points score above 90.

Weigh in starts at 7am on both days
Lifting starts at 9am on both days
