Prepare for the ultimate display of strength at the Australian Powerlifting Alliance (APA) 2025 Mega Nationals at Camperdown Quarters!
For the first time in the APA, you will see Australia's strongest Sub-Juniors, Juniors, Masters, Special Olympics and Equipped athletes on one stage across four huge days of competition! With records on the line and fierce rivalries brewing, the atmosphere will be electric as these powerhouse athletes showcase their strength, skill, and unwavering determination. Whether you're a long-time fan or just discovering the sport, the APA 2025 Mega Nationals promises to deliver intense competition and unforgettable moments.
Entry Criteria
All applications to the APA Classic Open Nationals 2025 event must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current member of the APA.
- Not be serving an Anti-Doping rule violation sanction.
- Compete in the qualification window and meet the qualifying criteria detailed in this document.
- Not be serving a sanction or be under investigation for a breach of IPF, APA constitution, policies, or bylaws.
- Not be a member of another powerlifting federation.
- Fulfil the volunteering requirement as outlined in the Athlete Selection and Progression Policy.

- Equipped - Eligibility and Qualifying Totals
Weight class changes
Competitors are able to qualify for 2025 Mega Nationals in the weight class they competed in when attaining a qualifying total, and also one (1) weight class above. Any changes to a lifter's weight class must be communicated to the APA by 21 days from the start of the event.
- The qualifying total must be met for the registered class.
