Competition Details

All APA competitions are bound by IPF rules; be sure to familiarise yourself with the rules of competition and approved equipment list ahead of competition day.

If you are under 18 years of age, a parent/legal guardian/temporary guardian must be present on the day. If not, you will be unable to compete. More information can be found on the APA website.

The Raw Strength Championships 10 (Club Combat 2) is a partial Special Event.

Selection Criteria:

• Catalyst Strength, Iron Jungle and Raw Strength will have 5 lifters per team, where the top 5 lifters from each club will have their IPF GL points combined to determine the “best club”, and who will win the Club Combat Trophy. 

• Otherwise, the competition will operate as normal, where the remaining spots will be open to anyone that wishes to compete:

• Weight class medals as per usual i.e., awarded as divided by age division 

• Trophies awarded to best female and best male

Competition schedule

• This competition will be one session.
• There will be a maximum of 30 entrants, 15 of which will be allocated to the Club Combat 2
• Lifting is set to begin at 10:00AM local time, with weigh-in beginning at 8:00AM local time
