Chrissy Classic is a Christmas inspired Powerlifting event which stands as the final opportunity to qualify for those in the Sub-Junior, Junior or Masters categories to qualify for Nationals at Hunter Performance Centre! This is also a great competition for any first timers and beginners to get started in the sport with a welcoming platform.

Competition Details

All APA competitions are bound by IPF rules; be sure to familiarise yourself with the rules of competition and approved equipment list ahead of competition day.

If you are under 18 years of age, a parent/legal guardian/temporary guardian must be present on the day. If not, you will be unable to compete. More information can be found on the APA website.

Preliminary competition schedule

This competition will have two sessions.

Session 1 (9am to 2pm)

• Lifting will begin at 9am
• Weigh-in will begin at 7am

Session 2 (2:30pm to 7:30pm)

• Lifting will begin at 2:30pm
• Weigh-in will begin at 12:30pm
