Calling all Masters lifters! The 2025 Australian Masters Games (AMG) will be held in Canberra, ACT. One of Australia's largest multi-sport events, the AMG provides an incredible opportunity for APA to bring together and showcase our Masters athletes. With over 10,000 participants, 50+ sports and a fully stacked social program, the 2025 Australian Masters Games is an event that's too good to be missed.
New and experienced lifters alike are welcome — there are no qualifying totals required for this event!

Competition Details
All APA competitions are bound by IPF rules; be sure to familiarise yourself with the rules of competition and approved equipment list ahead of competition day.
If you are under 18 years of age, a parent/legal guardian/temporary guardian must be present on the day. If not, you will be unable to compete. More information can be found on the APA website.
Preliminary competition schedule
This competition will have two sessions.
Session 1 (9am to 1:30pm)
- Lifting will begin at 9am
- Weigh-in will begin at 7am
Session 2 (2pm to 6:30pm)
- Lifting will begin at 2pm
- Weigh-in will begin at 12pm
