First Nations is a competition to celebrate and promote the strong cultural diversity that makes up the sport of Powerlifting, highlighting Indigenous Australian's hosting the event at the end of the 2025 NAIDOC Week. This is a great competition to qualify for the 2026 Open Nationals being ~6 months away.

There will be a prize money component to this event, where HPC & it's sponsors award 1x male and 1x female a grand prize for the largest improvement on their IPF GL score. The benchmark to qualify for the prize pool is 75.00 IPF GL Points for men and 70.00 IPF GL Points for women. More details to come on how big the prize pool will be.
