Canberra, Australia – The Australian Powerlifting Alliance (APA) is set to showcase the strength and dedication of Masters athletes as it hosts the powerlifting competition at the 2025 Australian Masters Games (AMG) in Canberra. Scheduled for Sunday, 19 October 2025, at Thoroughbred Park, this event will celebrate the resilience, skill, and camaraderie of Masters lifters from across the country.

The Australian Masters Games, a week-long multi-sport festival, will take place from 18–25 October 2025 and is expected to attract thousands of athletes competing in over 50 different sports. Marking its 20th edition, the AMG has grown into a prestigious event, providing a unique platform for Masters athletes to continue competing at a high level while fostering lifelong friendships and connections.
